Open Academy and Recreational
The Open Academy offers our dancers classes of exceptional quality and fun at CAPA. This is a wonderful option for students who love to learn and perform but due to time constraints are unable to complete the requirements in the “academy” or “intensive academy” programs. CAPA offers classes for pre-teens (ages 8-12) and teens (ages 13 and up). Also included in the OPEN ACADEMY are acrobatics, aerial dance, voice and hip hop classes.
“Our family has enjoyed the CAPA community for seven years. We initially chose the studio (for our then 3-yr old daughter) based on the quality of dance instruction but found ourselves immersed in a warm, loving community. The teachers respectfully engage the dancers with age-appropriate choreography that is both challenging and fun. Recital is my favorite weekend of the year! I love to see all the children dance and am always amazed to see their progress and growth. We can’t say enough great things about CAPA…it certainly has added tremendous value to our family!”
